Is our insanity days with Dustin Hopkins done with the deshaun injury? He’s had 6 and 7 points the last 2 weeks, and not going over 2 fg attempts in either. Are we moving on from him?

His best games were with Walker, so if he starts this week we might have a good time lol.

No you aren’t. His team is actually getting to the red zone or close enough for him to kick.

Your kicker won’t give you 15+ points every week, because your team can’t. I’d keep him

The offense is definitely better with Walker at QB. With that defense I think it’s best to hold out another week.

I think he’s worth a hold if you can afford it. Both QB’s looked like dogshit. I believe Flacco will be under center shortly. Flacco can at least move this offense into field goal range. Currently, they stall out somewhere between the opponent’s 40 yard line and midfield and go out of range. It’s always a penalty or the shittiest timed sack too. Joe Flaccid is our only hope 🤞🏻

Kicker performance more than any other position regresses to the mean.

Since 2019 there have been ZERO kickers who played a full or close to full slate of games and averaged 12 points a season or more. The closest was a Young Hoe who averaged 11.8 in 2019 but even he only played half the season.

It seems like with kickers, the strategy is more to avoid the objectively bad kickers and then get comfortable with sticking with one of the top 15 options despite week to week volatility.
