Honestly at this point just use a fucking madden playbook. We need to scrap every single pass play we had. Those routes were atrocious. No drags, no slants, all wrs bunched up on one side.

Do you think the offense is just going to learn totally new plays in week 13???

It’ll be very similar to what we’ve seen, but maybe with more of a willingness to push the ball downfield.

It’s almost impossible to reinvent the playbook in the last third of a season.

Same here. Even though it will be a lot of the Reich playbook, I can see him putting some of his stuff in every week. He will be able to call what he wants without Reich over his shoulder and overriding him.

The play book is the play book for the rest of the season. There is no way to just create new plays and have the offense learn them in less than a week. Now there might be some more aggressive plays in the book that Reich just wasn’t calling for whatever reason. Brown could make the offense look different by choosing some of those to call.

I could be wrong but I swear I saw a lot fewer screens in Brown’s first couple weeks. Then by the Bears game, we were calling screens again. I think Reich saw Brown was having success and pushed himself back in. Then Reich took play calling duties back and yeehaw back to screen city
