I once came home from the bar all pissed off after a devastating Bills loss and my girlfriend at the time said, “oh great, now your day is ruined so my day is ruined and there’s not a single player on that team who even knows you exist!”

I broke up with that bitch not long after but I still think of her words every time the Bills piss me off. Cut deep.

    My wife knows that for 4 months of the year my Sunday Monday or Thursday moods are strictly dependent on the Bills. She’s accepted the role of misery companion with grace.

    Now that she’s been watching every game for the past couple years, she’s become a huge fan and plays the role even better now.

    Blaming you for having a bad day when you did nothing wrong to her is a huge red flag. Also the fact that she didn’t learn how to deal with you when the Bills lost is extremely annoying. She should’ve done something that would make you feel better rather than bitching and blaming you.

    I’m a kick off to final whistle guy(as I type away on reddit). No morning or afternoon radio, no podcast, no nothing(a little reddit). I find I enjoy the games more and what happens effects me maybe 20% of what it use to. In the end it’s just grown men in costumes knocking each other over.

    My mom said it best; they make millions of dollars only for you, a person they don’t know and don’t care about, to be pissed off about it. I usually get more mad after my hockey team loses, but I think focusing on what needs to be done and is under your control in your own life is most important!
