I can’t begin to guess the number of games i’ve won where I originally thought we’d lose. Overwatch is a game where you can quite literally turn it all around last minute and pull off a victory, and I think a lot of these new players just don’t understand that. It’s usually always the person doing the worst on the team, as well.

A million things can happen to turn the game around, Hero swaps being a big one. Most of these throwers won’t even consider that, either. As soon as I see someone type “GG we lose” in the chat after losing 1 round, I instantly know they won’t attempt to do anything else and we definitely do lose. I know speaking into the subreddit is talking to the minority of players, but I can only hope the number of throwers dissipates in the future.

Also, please give us more avoid slots blizz. 3 isn’t close to being enough.

People tend to forget that Overwatch is so unique, I can’t count the number of games where I thought I’d lose just to have it turn around to a win, especially in competitive. A team could stomp you in the first round but you manage to barely hold them from pushing the payload to the final point, then you simply stop them at an early choke. Eichenwalde is a great example of one such map.

I vividly remember a game in Circuit Royale where the enemy team was pushing the payload with ease, we managed to finally win a fight with the payload ~0.2 meters from ending the game. Ended up holding for the ~4-5 mins left and won the game.
