Going from nearly unwatchable the first 6 weeks to some of the most fun I’ve had watching this team in a long long time. First time beating the chiefs in forever, first time we’ve had a 5 game win streak in forever, first time I’ve had hope in November in forever. We’re playing with house money at this point, after that dolphins game we should have never been in the position we’re in but here we are, going into week 13 6-5 with some more winnable games on the horizon. No matter what happens these last handful of games I’m finally happy watching football again. Let’s hope this streak keeps going, it’s all about getting hot at the right time and if we keep pumping like this who knows what can happen… Let’s go Broncos!
I’m seeing building blocks now where earlier in the season including last season i couldn’t even see a foundation. This season has been a success because we actually, for the first time in 7 years, look competent in some way. We have lots of work still to do, but i can see the culture has changed, we are winning these close games now, players have confidence now. We’ve been a soft ass, sad team for a while and i think we’ve ditched that voodoo.
I agree teams we have beaten this year gave me a lot of hope
I changed my non-stop flight to a later red eye with a layover just to catch this Sunday’s game. Let’s ride!
I feel a bit greedy, and want another Super Bowl. I can’t be the only one right?
I want more, honestly a LOT more.
But I have to agree with the OP. The turnaround in so many aspects is extremely encouraging for the Bronco’s future. SP is the real fucking deal vs that train wreck with endured last year.
PLEASE save enough in the tank to CRUSH the FTR bitches.
Season won’t be complete without the annihilation of FTR in the finale.
I agree the first 6 games sucked but I didn’t not enjoy watching them. I was a staunch believe that even though we weren’t winning we looked like a much better team than last season. With the exception of the Miami loss.
My post history can back me up but I saw a lot of things in the first 6 games that kept me optimistic and I didn’t freak out and bag on our team.
New systems take time to acclimate to and to learn. We had a new offense and new defense. And there’s no replacing game experience. I knew it would be a slow start.
The offense was immediately better and I watched them slowly integrate more and more layers over the first half of the season. They still are in fact. Although I wasn’t a fan of the VJ that piece expectedly took more time. We also had a lot of hurt starters. Now that defense is solid and they’re confusing offenses.
I whole heartedly believe that teams are greater than the sum of their parts and that the defense was playing so poorly because they weren’t playing as a team. We offloaded two starters that were supposed to be two of our better defensive players and we immediately played better. Coincidence? I think not
This winning streak has been awesome
