I just watched the highlights on nfl.com after the game, and part of the Chiefs offensive dysfunction might be their effort levels. Obviously these guys are looking at six more games in the regular season and three-four more in the postseason, but there’s “load management” and then there’s lack of effort.

The two worst plays to me were a “screen” where Mahomes checked down to the RB who got tackled for a five yard loss while Mahomes and an offensive lineman just stood there and watched, and the one-yard Pacheco TD where guard-center,guard blocked well on the trap, and everyone just kind of watched until Kelce ran in to help push the pile.

Am I making a mountain out of a molehill, or is this a legitimate concern/actual thing? It’s definitely fixable, but a little concerning to me. Are we going to cruise into the playoffs and then flip the switch?

I’ve read a lot of idiotic posts on this sub, but this might be the worst.
