KOC refuses to start Hall because we’re still in “playoff position” and the plan was never to start him this year. Dobbs plays out the rest of the year, we go .500 the rest of the way to ruin draft position but also miss the playoffs. Now we don’t know what we have in Hall and we ruined our draft position for a top QB. All this leads to Kirk being resigned next year. Don’t deny it, you know it’s going to happen.

Does everyone forget that Mullen is the next QB not Hall? Hall was inactive/emergency QB tonight.

Will you monumental brainless idiots that couldn’t manage a team in madden stop using this argument of “Hurr durr draft position”

I have some very difficult truths that you need to get in your head right now.

    1. Tanking, in the entire history of professional American sports has succeed exactly 0 times. None. Not once.

    2. The hit rate on first round draft picks is not nearly as high as you seem to think that it is. It’s sun 30%

    3. Good teams couldn’t give less of a shit about draft position. Look at the patriots history, the chiefs in the Mahomes era, the eagles, the Seahawks. None of these teams give even a single rat fuck about where the draft. Stop using this as an argument. You look like a fucking fool.

I believe They’ll trade up no matter what to get one of the QBs(not Williams or Maye) and sign Kirk for a two year with a third option, let him play next season and maybe even the second season and retire a viking, then bring him on as a coach

This is very accurate. And it’s the same reason why we are constantly in this vicious circle every damn season.

People can love Kirk all they want, but we’d be in a much more manageable situation if we hadn’t gone all in on Kirk with all that money when we did. I feel like it put us in a real bind for 6 seasons with only one playoff win to show for it.

I’ll have to look at what our drafting options would’ve been in 2018 if we didn’t hire Kirk or 2019 (if we went another season with Keenum).
