It’s because 90% of the time, what you get next is what you saw tonight. Ride with him until he retires. He’s the exact type of QB that is capable of playing at 40 with his play style and gives you a chance to win every game.

If anything Dobbs showed us what a dynamic dual threat QB could do for this offense. Kirk is a relic of the past, a statue QB who folds at the first sign of pressure. Only issue is, Dobbs can’t throw. We need a Herbert/Lawrence type and our offense would be really fkn good.

Good grief guys. We’ve had 6 years of Kirk. Dobbs has been here 4 weeks. We gonna pretend that Kirk was lights out his first 4 weeks here?

I don’t know how to say this so that Kirk stans will understand. Even if you don’t think Kirk Cousins is the future of the team, you do understand that he is very much better than a journeyman backup we acquired 3 weeks ago.

Nah I’m good. Dobbs isn’t it nor is Kirk. My preference is to compete for an SB

Kirk put up 14 points against Chicago. 13 against Carolina. One playoff win in 12 seasons. Coming off an Achilles injury at 36 yo where he’s gonna eat up $40 million a year of cap space.

It’s very valid to question why the hell we would pay $40 million a year for that. Is he better than Dobbs? Of course he is. Would it be better to draft a QB in the first round and actually find a franchise QB? Yes.
