Playing time is earned not given. You can’t just play worse players in front of others it has a lasting effect on a team. We are too good to not try to win, blame Tyrese.
When it’s close you can get away with it, Mathurin playing over Buddy to start the season for instance. IJax over Jalen in certain circumstances. Jarace isn’t performing as good as Nwora right now in practice (I assume based on depth chart) let alone Nesmith or Obi. When he closes that gap he will get more minutes.
I’d expect Jarace to hop Nwora in the lineup by the end of December, hopefully he is a regular in the lineup post trade deadline. Although there’s a chance that he is buried after the deadline if the Pacers go after someone (not what I expect but it’s possible).
