I mean $60-70K for an Ioniq 5 or an EV6? At that point aren’t people just looking at Teslas instead?

Not everyone wants a Tesla.
They have way better customer service and aftersales than Tesla from everything I hear. Like night and day, different universe better.
but who’s buying Kias and Hyundais?
Me! They’re good value in Canada because they’re eligible for our government rebates. That’s a big deal: my 40,000cdn car became a 30,000ish car. I probably wouldn’t have made that purchase without the rebates.
The sticker on my 2023 Ioniq 5 Limited RWD was $54900. AWD in the same trim was just $4k more. I traded in my 2019 Kona Electric Ultimate for the I5.
