An explanation for the tables’ columns:

App Average: this calculates the average score from the two apps (Sofascore and FotMob). If Sofascore gave a player a 7.0 and FotMob gave him an 8.0, the “app average” would be 7.5

Deviation: this shows how much our poll results deviate from the apps’ average scores. If we gave a player a 5.0 and the average of the apps is 6.5, the “deviation” will be -1.5

Total Average: this calculates the average score from the r/fcbayern, Sofascore, and FotMob ratings. If we gave a player a 5.0, Sofascore gave them a 5.5, and FotMob gave them a 7.0, the “total average” would be 5.5

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to set up a poll for the Dortmund match next Saturday.
Is anyone here interested in helping out? Setting up the poll shouldn’t be too much work, since I’ve created a template for it, and I can do the evaluation myself and post the results on Sunday/Monday.
I can share the Google Forms template with you and give you instructions on what you need to do.
Basically you will be doing the following:
- making sure the players in the poll’s Starting XI is correct
- keeping track of the players subbed in before the 80-minute-mark
- keeping track of the goals of the match and adding them to the poll by checking https://old.reddit.com/r/soccer/new/ for videos and copy/pasting the links
- posting a thread and comments with links to the poll
You can do this either while the match is happening (if you want the poll to go live right after the match is finished), or you can do it after the match is over if you’d rather watch the match first before you set up the poll. The latter will yield a lower response rate, but that’s still better than not having a poll at all.
