Thoughts on the 2023 Eagles and what makes them special
The Eagles are a rare team, that is talented and deep in all facets of the game. We are outgained by KC by 100 yards. But the defense forces two turnovers in the red one, costing KC 14 potential points. Covey has 3 PRs for 53 yards. Down by 10 at halftime, the coaches adjust, and lights out on KC, at Arrowhead stadium. We didnt have Dallas, 1/3 of our passing attack
Last year, the Commanders ended our 8 game winning streak. This year - even though Howell looks like the GOAT, we take both from a division rival by outlasting them.
Buffalo had 32 points against a standout Jets D last week and did the same to us. Josh Allen is one of the best QBs and hehas weapons. But our offense went toe to toe with them. Buffalo had a lot more yards, but they had 55 more yards in penalties. We outputed them and Covey out returned them. We lose Lane, Cox, Cuningham to injuries and didnt have Dallas. A pouring rainstorm, but Jake puts a 59 yarder through and we end it in OT.
Last year, we lamented the special teams. This year, they are a strength
Nonstop injuries, weekly, to key players. But you dont see Hurts sitting out a few weeks for his knee.
I think this is the best Eagles team ever.
I’D RUN THROUGH A FUCKING WALL FOR NICK SIRIANNI, FUCK RIVAL FANS
Rewatching the game, I do think the Bills have a legitimate beef with the refs. Can’t believe they called offsides on this one: https://imgur.com/a/wSvLbeX
We’re so lucky the refs handed us the game.
Niners fans are insufferable. Their fans on their sub are ripping on Reddick “imagine gloating about beating a team with no QB!!”
Like he’s literally not you fuckin nitwits. He is actually saying that you guys don’t ever shut the fuck up crying about it, so either come prove it Sunday or shut the fuck up for good
Officiating non-controversy aside, a common theme I know we’ve all seen how opposing fan bases talk about our wins — is that we’re lucky.
MVS dropped pass, luck.
Gabe Davis miscue, luck.
Like mfers, how about MVS get better?! How about Gabe, whom had a phenomenal game given his track record, make sure he knows the fucking play before he runs his route??
They all wanna say we got lucky but not admit that any one of their own players need to be better

I’m not going to claim I understand how NFL scheduling works and it’s probably petty of me but our time slots for the remainder of the season and how they compare to the SNF & MNF matchups:
vs 49ers 4:25. SNF: KC/GB; MNF: Cin/Jax
@ Cowboys 8:20. MNF: GB/NYG and Ten/Mia
@ Seattle 4:25 est. SNF: Bal/Jax; MNF: KC/NE
vs Giants 4:00 Monday Xmas. SNF: NE/Den; MNAF: LV/KC; MNF: Bal/SF
vs Cards 1:00. SNF: GB/Min. MNF: New Years no game
@ Giants TBD. SNF: TBD
IMO I would’ve liked for our SF game be on SNF and Dal on MNF the following week. Honestly don’t care for that 4pm Xmas matchup against NYG could’ve made that a 1pm game.
🤷🏻♂️
I don’t like it when fans cross the line, any violence is obviously over that line, but I’ve never understood how so many other fans don’t see it as their responsibility to talk some fucking shit.
To dudes sitting near the opposing team. Talk your fucking shit boys and girls. That’s why you’re there. You want the best view… sit at home and watch in your climate controlled room on TV with their HD lenses and 40 video cameras. You sit where a player can hear you… let ‘em know they fucking suck. Let them now if they missed a tackle. (Don’t be the drunk annoying dick head who doesn’t stop screaming and laces everything with profanity around kids.) It’s wild to me that Philly gets to athletes so much because they just don’t get it other places. Arcia lost it. Now Phillips and Lawson lost it and is making up pure BS about that dude threatening him. Gtfo dude you were out of control all night. He should have had two penalties for unnecessary roughness. Guy was on one all game and got pissed he’s not gonna see the playoffs and lost it. Security guard is tossing the fan if he said actual shit. Never been at a game where they don’t toss you for going over the line while they’re standing there.
The whole 49ers team lost it last year.
Proud to have this fan base. It’s almost time for batteries at Santa Claus season everyone so buckle up to hear the announcers mention that 100 times in addition to whatever other slander they can fined.
Marcus Peters would honestly be pretty great depth for the CB room. He’s still a good player and I imagine he’ll try a lot harder in Philly than the Raiders
