The 49ers definitely lead the Eagles in one category. They have one more 3 game losing streak this year than we do

Last year, we lamented the special teams most of the year. This year they are a strength.
This year, many more key injuries. That makes it much harder
How are the Eagles doing during this “death row” schedule so far? Miami? Dallas? KC? Buffalo?
The Bills laid 32 points on an elite Jets defense last week
They did the same to us, so the Offense, and Special Teams carried the day. So did our discipline (55 fewer penalty yards).
Thoughts on the 2023 Eagles and what makes them special
The Eagles are a rare team, that is talented and deep in all facets of the game. We are outgained by KC by 100 yards. But the defense forces two turnovers in the red one, costing KC 14 potential points. Covey has 3 PRs for 53 yards. Down by 10 at halftime, the coaches adjust, and lights out on KC, at Arrowhead stadium. We didnt have Dallas, 1/3 of our passing attack
Last year, the Commanders ended our 8 game winning streak. This year - even though Howell looks like the GOAT, we take both from a division rival by outlasting them.
Buffalo had 32 points against a standout Jets D last week and did the same to us. Josh Allen is one of the best QBs and hehas weapons. But our offense went toe to toe with them. Buffalo had a lot more yards, but they had 55 more yards in penalties. We outputed them and Covey out returned them. We lose Lane, Cox, Cuningham to injuries and didnt have Dallas. A pouring rainstorm, but Jake puts a 59 yarder through and we end it in OT.

Nonstop injuries, weekly, to key players. But you dont see Hurts sitting out a few weeks for his knee.
I think this is the best Eagles team ever.
Personally, I think our most screaming need is a stud CB - with our FIRST pick. Our starters are geezers and make a lot of bad plays. We give up way too many 300+ yard games.
You are just missing the Block and …
It means ABSOLUTELY nothing
TOTAL YARDS
BILLS 166
EAGLES 80
EVERYONE HAS THEIR LIST
I want a stud CB with our First Rounder next year. We need to retire this geezer secondary
Dunno, but Cunningham is still my favorite stud athlete QB.
Anyone who only punts several times in his life and holds third longest punt ever is special. actually it was a quick kick
The fact they defeated Washington - the team that ended their 8-0 start in 2022 - twice this year (in spite of Howell torching their secondary)
and defeating KC IN KC…
with significantly more injuries…
Makes me think THIS year’s version MIGHT be a better team. But of course, the season isnt over yet
So then they should NOT be 6-2-2 ATS???
What comes to mind THIS year compared to 2022…
is we managed to win both againt Wash (last year they stopped our 8 game streak)
AND going into KC and managing to win by 4 (we were several point underdogs)…
So maybe this years team is a bit better, regardless of point spreads…
Clarifying This question could apply to any winning team
The idea was about a team that was significantly better than even ATS
I came across these ATS stats for the Eagles today, but I couldnt find much research on this as a question. Thought I would put it out there as a topic question
Any research on this generally qould be appreciated
2022 season, the Eagles were 10-10 Against the Spread
2023 season, 6-2-2 ATS
Does this mean we are being underestimated? Perhaps we are better than people think?
Being 3.5 underdogs and winning in KC by 4 is actually a little impressive and promising I think…
I see an amazing amount of second guessing, compllaints, anger
we are lucky.
It is the referees. The coaches. The players.
We should be winning by 20-30 every game. After 10 games, we should probably be 13-0…
This is my assessment of the Eagles: Our QB, receivers, RBd, OLine, DLine, LBs, Safeties, Secondary, Special Team, backups… Coaches, GM, Organization, Leadership…
We are 9-1 for ONE reason. We have so much talent and ability everywhere, that when the secondary or injuries or turnovers or penalties or other bad things happen in a game, the rest of the team can make plays that carry us through
against the Chiefs - a SB team, in Arrowhead Stadium, in constant rain - we were seriously outgained by 100 yards. 5 sacks in the first half. Down by 10 at Halftime. Our star TE was out. But there was someone to intercept in the end zone. There was someone to punch out the ball and someone to fall on it also in the Red Zone - 14 potential points lost to KC. Someone had about 100 receiving yards. Someone had over 100 receiving and rushing yards. The dfense shut out KC in the 2nd half. We kept our cool - we know who we are. You have to play 60 minutes of football. You only need to win by 1.

I am still looking/hoping for the 2022 playoff Eagles to show up, that demolished the Giants and 49ers, then was up 10 at halftime on the Chiefs in the SB. I believe that is in there somewhere…
Our OLine is back (Cam) , so hoping the running game gets off the ropes
Jalen is throwing almost the best of his career (no Dallas though)
We seem to have the pieces back for the secondary.
KC has some issues
Going out on a limb here:
Eagles 30 KC 21…
correcting title - 1st round bye/#1 Seed
It is nice to have a TWO game lead over the 49ers.
It was always my opinion this would be the hardest game of the year
Even if we lose, we have an easier schedule remaining (6th vs. 12th easiest). I mean we have 2 games against the 4-8 Giants and 1 game with the 2-8 Cardinals!
We play the Cowboys, but they have to play the Ravens.
Winning would be great, but we can absorb a loss to 49ers if we have to and still control the 1st round bye.
