Anyone got the stats on that? Seems like Cade can trust that someone can actually do something with his passes and he doesn’t try to force his teammates open anymore.

It’s better and hopefully with more time and a healthy Bojan there’s another step forward Cade can take.
On offense I still want him to be quicker. Part of it is who he is and he needs some of that “craft” to get his shots off but it’s a little too much dribbling, surveying and pump faking I think. It’s almost the reverse of Jaden where Jaden needs to add in the slower pace, Cade needs to just try his move and if it’s not there, get the ball to someone else. There’s definitely a place for that slower play but there’s too much of it right now.
I’ve been absolutely appalled by Cade’s defense though. On ball, off ball, all of it.
Reading this sub you would think he’s been averaging 14 pts and 5 assists shooting 20% instead of 28/7 on 42/40/100 splits the last 3 games
I think the issue is he’s just missing shots he needs to make. In the 4th quarter, when we desperately needed some offense to stay in striking distance with Washington he missed back to back wide open 3s. It’s been like this all season. I was so frustrated with that sequence, I turned the game off for the first time this season.
I agree, he is doing better overall with Ivey. Ivey has been doing GREAT and Cade naturally plays off the rim pressure he provides. However on a 14 game losing streak any mistake or failure to convert will be seen as a massive issue given the fans are thoroughly disgusted and angry with the season.
I think things would improve if Ivey got a few of the shots Cade is currently putting up. We also desperately need last year’s Bogey or a trade to give us more guys who can score as outside Cade Ivey it’s all dunks and Bricks
I still don’t understand why Monty would bench Ivey. Like what did it help, it helped us to a 2-13 start to the season 🤣
