Look at how much claxton has grown in just a few years. Do people really think he won’t be capable of developing a jumpshot? Do people not realize that if he develops a decent 3 ball or mid range and Ben develops free throws this team can become a contender? If we find a way for Ben and clax to share the floor we become a defensive juggernaut team. Plus the rise of cam Thomas & the twins good defense & floor Spacing. I can guarantee clax will develop a jumper. He’s a very hard worker. Once that happens it’s over for the league honestly

You absolutely cannot guarantee Clax develops a jumper haha.

If anything aslong as Clax keeps improving his freethrows and can keep up his post all star game numbers from last year (just under 65%) over this full season I’ll be delighted.

They do not work together in this era of basketball. To think otherwise is malpractice to roster construction.

although claxton developing a full on jumper is somewhat unlikely i can 100% see him bringing his free throw percentage up to around 70% honestly. Hell he’s been shootin 65% free throw since February of this year.

Im kinda late to this disccussion so I dont know if anyone else has bought it up (I didnt have a chance to read through the comments) but Ben and Clax can not share the floor going forward. If The Nets are gonna keep lying to themselves thinking Mikal can be a #1, its clear he cant operate with them on the floor. I think someone has to go to the Bench for this team to aviod giving Houston a top lottery pick and I think it should be Claxton.
