Cam is on a rookie contract, they Nets will extended him.
I think he can be our #2 for the future but I think to truly contend we need a dominating Big, whether that’s a Big Forward or a Center to pair with Cam with Dariq as your #3.
You don’t think the best scorer in his draft class is real? I can’t wait to watch Cam continue proving his doubters wrong.

EVERYONE That’s not named Cam Thomas can be had for the right price, yes even Claxton. Claxton is good but he just doesn’t have the body frame for a modern day center. He can’t even guard his position, he excels guarding Smaller players but we need a BIG BODY for other BIG BODIES.
Why are you in a rush to trade assets for a small guard than couldn’t bring 2 Franchise a championship or a finals run but writing off what Cam can not be.
It sucks we got rid of our injury-prone stars just to replace them with injury-prone role players. Spencer should have not been on that floor for the defensive stop but Cam Johnson just find new ways to hurt himself…UGH!! I couldn’t even enjoy his tip-back because he was back on the bench with an injury.
Johnson not being out there for the last defensive stop suck, that man is always hurting himself.
one superstar is taking us the same as this roster. you need 2 stars and 2-3 very good role players
I have a hard time seeing any team trade a 6’11 center for a 6’0 shooting guard.
I was wondering, has Cam Johnson ever had 2 good consecutive games since he’s been a Net? If he was offering nothing offensively tonight I wouldn’t be upset but his 5 fouls killed the momentum of the game.
It’s gonna be so tough, whenever is healthy. I like the lineup we had against The Magic. Maybe Ben and Cam come off the bench until Spencer is traded (I’m gonna be sad to lose both Spence and Royce 😭)
I hope the Twins don’t decide to build a house tonight or else it’s gonna be a nasty blowout, The Magic are legit.
I had us going 4-6 so 5-5 is fine especially with the injuries to the starters all while being competitive with Title Contending teams, can’t be upset but now that the schedule is easier this stretch is gonna be brutal without Cam Thomas.
Hopefully Mikal can snap back into the version we saw for those 27 games last season and Cam Johnson can offer more than Bricks

Spencer and Royce are on an expiring so I see those 2 being moved but DFS might stick around for another season unless a Contender offers the house for him. Ben won’t have any value until next season when he’s an expiring and I think the core right now should be Cam and Nic.
He never went back down to earth he was benched for the guys that were recently traded for in the KD & Kyrie’s trades.
People only knew about Cam from the 40-point games but as a Nets fan, I knew he was the real deal in his rookie season. He led the team back from a 28-point deficit in MSG & he hit a Game Winner with KD & Harden on the floor. He was also the lead scorer in the Pacer game, The Nets rested their starters against in his sophomore year, this was an impressive win to me because that same Pacer team beat KD & Kyrie.
