Josh Dobbs is not a savior, never has been, never will be. Josh Dobbs proved one thing, this team was good enough without Kirk Cousins to win the NFC South.

Was it fun to see him come in and do it, undoubtedly, and it was fun to see this team still win, but where does that leave the team? .500 with 5 games to play and still in a wildcard spot, though with no bye yet, that is tenuous.

The two games lost have been by 1 and 2 points and to any fans I say this, if JJ isn’t good enough to amount for at least that many points added to the team’s performance, they should be questioning his contract demands anyways.

The Vikings now have Raiders, Bengals, Lions, Packers, Lions presumably with JJ back in action coming off a late bye week. That may just be enough to actually control their destiny.

Should they bench Dobbs, I don’t know, but I think this team will be better with JJ, to the point they may have won the last two and can definitely have a shot at the next 5. Do I expect a playoff run, no, but I’ll take a chance at one any year and that is still on the table in this one.

Ya, I’m indifferent on Dobbs or others and trust the coaches as I don’t think the other options are gonna be significantly better.

The weirdest part of yesterday to me was the defense going more coverage/prevent on that last drive when it’s the opposite of what they did the other 58 minutes.
