    Don’t know about else where, but here in Australia:

    Golf GTI: $56,000

    Hyundai I30 N Line Premium: $36,000

    Tesla Model 3: $57,000 (after gov rebates)

    Don’t know what others think but I don’t see the appeal of the GTI (and I’m saying this as someone who owns a - albeit classic - Golf).
