I just hit immortal strictly spamming 5 undying and tree. Even though I’ve been winning a lot and the climb isn’t slowing yet I feel like I’m only an immortal undying player and if I had to play other heroes or roles I would probably drop down. I think I can play the 4 not too bad and I used to play 3 so I’m okay at that. I feel like my 1/2 play is pretty bad. Maybe ancient level at best. Is it normal to have a huge difference in skill between your main role/heroes and others? I’d like to learn the other roles and be more flexible in what I play but I would probably get stomped and reported if I tried.

I’m wondering if this is normal and what mmr difference do you have in your main role vs others?

    Tbh the difference I dont think is in the heroes, is in the position you play, every position has a different strategy, if your strategy is fine you know what you are doing the heroes in that position can just improve u mechanically, but overall the calls and strategy inproves the mmr, the hero case is just if the hero is broken af.

    It can happen that you can be mad in the mechanic of the hero but ur calls are just bad and that wont really make you cling, the calls inprove the team and impact directly the overall team game, the hero is just a cog in the machine if ur game is shit the other 4 can maintain the game till u farm, if u make bad calls that can end the game instantly even if ur the most farmed hero.

    Between 2 3 4 and Ive almost equl mmr. Never played 1 the past 300 games of my ranked history. I feel like I have an insane mentality and skil capacity when it comes to WD SS disruptor viper and couple others. I love storm spirit but ima go get bullied by a fucking dazzle because dazzle.

    My 2 has the lowest wr i think, without checking due to the lack of knowledge playing mid. Im 3k mmr just started ranked, but mid is definetely so fucking hard. Imo my 4 and 5 have no mmr different, maybe a slight.

    Even within roles I have a huge mmr difference when playing different heroes.

    I think it is normal to have like 1k gap between best and worst role. I am divine 1. I have played all the roles (mid the least). I think I understand the theory and good practice of all the roles and all the heroes. But to be able to properly excute it’s another thing… That is just hours of practice of that theory until muscle memory and edge cases happen a lot.
