Does anyone else get this problem since the new update? Doesn’t always do it but started to do so often enough for me to wonder why now? The animations to say it’s shutting down all trigger as normal, fan shuts off, screen goes black but back light continues to stay lit

    What model do you have, and have you verified it’s the backlight and not a light reflection by observing it in a completely dark room?

      I have the LCD, had it since launch and it’s definitely the back light, I’m used to seeing the back light and then off sequence when I connect to a dock you see and I always make it sure it’s off before putting it back in the case out of fear it cooks in the case from poor ventilation after a few posts I’ve seen of that exact thing. I notice it a mile off. If I press power button while in this state it does then turn the light off but then that makes me wonder if that’s just suspends it and it’s still draining battery
