I’ve watched several videos and browsed opinions but couldn’t really find out an advantage of using any of those before any others.

Can you help me choose a class 35 for daily commuter (Mazda CX-5) between:

Costco: Interstate - CCA 640, CA 800, 38.2 lbs, $109

Sam’s Club: Duracel - CCA 640, CA 785, $140

Walmart: EverStart Maxx - CCA 640, CA, 38.18 lbs, $140

All the prices are net of core charges. All those options come with 3 year (36months) replacement warranty.

I’ve watched this online 3-year review of Walmart to Costco’s. I also considered that returns to Walmarts may be easier than returns to Warehouse stores, simply because there are Walmarts everywhere. I have the duracel for 4 years now on a Rav4 and I have no issues. The price in Costco, however is also a point to consider - it’s $21 less, which I am willing to spend for a better or higher quality.

Walmart’s Everstarts are the same as Autozone’s Duralast Gold batteries, except $30-40 cheaper.

If I could buy them wholesale and sell them in my shop I probably would

I thought that Johnson Controls divested this and no longer makes Interstate.

The tooling, machinery, personnel in the manufacturing plants, etc., etc., doesn’t just change overnight, with any mergers/acquisitions of the holding/parent company. :)

If/when/then - You don’t just throw away all that top level brand value you paid to acquire. :)
