Even in the Titans game, on the final 4th and 6, Bryce was 80% on converting 4th down and 6 yards or less (including QB scrambles). I don’t think any of the previous 4th down and 6 yards or less play calls were a terrible screen that had no chance of converting. Why not give him some better options to convert there since he had been converting them so well this year?

To be fair after watching that play several times the screen is literally all the chance he had to throw, Bozeman and the LG got absolutely THROWN. Like they are literally trying to stand back up by the time Bryce has thrown the ball. And I by no means am defending this call its just SOMETHING needs to happen to this offensive line, it’s beyond atrocious :(

Part of that is the play design. The o-line lets the defenders through on screens to take them out of the play. The o-line would’ve blocked slightly better on a non-screen play. I’m not sure Bryce would’ve had more than 2.5 seconds, but he would’ve had more than the 1.5 seconds he had on that play
