Fake: a 2 years doctor would be working 20/24 hours shifts. Only after like 5 years they get normal shifts

    Edited: should be more actually

Medical degree can be used for research though? Anon doesn’t need to work patient-facing to use his education, surely there is a better position for them.

And this sounds like a pretty good life, time for reading and working out, enough free time to have a relationship. Most doctors don’t have such a cushy schedule.

If you are bad with patients and good with technical shit, go into a speciality where you don’t interface with patients. Become a diagnostic radiologist. You’ll hardly see patients directly. Or become a pathologist. You’ll never see a (live) patient.

You know the key to dealing with social anxiety? Telling people you have social anxiety.

Its like ripping off a bandaid. Once you tell the normies that you arent like them the nice ones will be nice, cut younsome slack and try to work with you. The shit people will out themselves as not worth even trying with.

Never underestimate how much fear of change can cause this. If they are already conditioned to conflate change with insecurity and threat, people will do a lot to prevent any change, regardless of how much it is needed. I speak out of personal experience here. My fear of change is the thing that holds me back from doing most things.
