I’m curious - why do you pick Samsung compared to other smartphone brands? (Google Pixel, iPhone, OnePlus, etc.)
(I’m also going to be asking in other phone subs, hope this survey goes well)
I have a Galaxy tablet primarily because of S-Pen, Dex, and long support.
I don’t currently have a Galaxy phone (I have a Pixel phone) but am strongly considering switching to Galaxy phone. Main reasons for this are 1) I want Samsung secure folder on my phone and 2) it would be convenient to have same UI on phone and tablet.
I love using Dex and I like having access to emulators and sideloading. Solid phones with good chipset and screens.
I’m so deep in the ecosystem. Using anything else would probably drive me crazy because it doesn’t do things like I’m used to.
My work phone is a Pixel. It’s familiar but also not.
Non chinese, good support, reliable, affordable, best UI.
I use iPhone and I hate it.
First of all probably the most simple reason is I prefer their look (like with the cameras and bezels), then it’s probably their adaptive battery’s and their reliability and then the ui in my opinion is way cleaner and nicer. (And it has a more open minded community and a better ecosystem).
This same post was on pixel sub 🤣
Because it’s the only Android brand that I can get on the secondary networks. Simple as that. I could get a pixel but it doesn’t come with the savings on these secondary networks.
best displays, best design and well the small things as samsung members make having a galaxy better sadly where i live flagship models cost A LOT more but if i had one i would count the spen as a reason, if you would ask me that same questiom like 5 years ago i would say that galaxy is overprices cause here we never got the A line or it was very difficult/expensive to buy so the best you can get was a J7 prime wich was expensive and from tjat time you can get an asus zenfone max for half of the price, but nowadays i would say that the relation of specs/price makes a diference and well for the price is the best option (i dont like xiaomi tbh) thats why i choose it also because of asus no longer making phone variants but a reason that would make me a loyal customer would be that they make the A line spen compatible
I don’t have a Samsung Galaxy, I have iPhone. But I prefer the Samsung Galaxy because it lets the user change way more and do way more.
Best camera
Liked they look back in the early days when the s3, s4, and s5 were out. First phone ever was s7 edge, really enjoyed how bright the display was, large it was, battery life, the design, etc. Took a break tried LG and iphone, they were ok but came back to s22 plus and its been a great device.
Samsung bc in the US we only have Samsung and Pixel as major Android options. Samsung is way more reliable and not glitchy. I like OneUI a lot as well.
My first phone ever was a samsung champ, then my father gift me a J1 mini, then my mom inherited me a s7 edge, then I bought an a53 and now a s23+. It’s more like a love story, I grow up with samsung. That doesn’t mean I haven’t tried other brands, I had an iphone 11 and I hated iOS, and I had a Huawei (It was good when it had android).
I would love to try pixel too, but that will only happend if they have a good tablet with at least 8GB RAM and a stylus.
I have a Z Fold 4, and I love it. Between the potent performance, Samsung Dex, and speedy charging, I can have a phone, a tablet, or a fairly capable desktop PC experience in a single pocket. It’s the perfect blend of practical and ostentatious, and I feel like nothing else on the market really fits me as much as the Z Fold series does. Pixel lacks the CPU grunt and Dex that I’ve grown to love, and I’m honestly a fan of the skinnier front screen. Apple locks their stuff down too much, and other offerings aren’t usually supported by many carriers. I also do like OneUI, it’s grown on me.
As of right now, my next planned device is a Z Fold 6. Super excited to see what the SD Gen 3 can do being pushed to the limit in the Fold with that extra screen space to run apps.
