I keep thinking that if Ju sacrificed points to more consciously focus on a lower scoring near triple double average with a few stonks we are way better than him going all out for 25/10/5 at the cost of hustle/defense. He should be wanting even baiting defenses to double so he can specifically pad his assists

He’s doing exactly that. His line is 19.6/9.5/5.2, scoring 5 fewer points, shooting 2.5 fewer treys, 1 less FGA, while also dishing 1 more dime a game compared to last year. He’s doing exactly what you’re suggesting he should do.
