Dude went to UCLA in our backyard, helped get them to the Final Four, almost the Championship game, we need talent that has experience dude played 4 years in college, JHS played 1 year and he’s never gonna see minutes with the guards this team has. Erik Spo, a great coach, is giving JJJ real minutes in the NBA, JHS will probs be on the Hornets in like 2 years. Our scouts are mid as hell
It would be different if he showed literally anything impressive in Summer League or Pre-Season. He was terrible then, and his first minutes in the regular essentially confirmed that he’s nowhere near ready for the NBA.
The question is, what will it take for him to be ready? That’s when you start examining the pieces and projecting. Some players are like, yeah I can see enough there to where if only he could make his jumper, he might be an NBA player. If only he had a tighter handle. If only he made better decisions, that talent is there.
I’m genuinely asking the question, because I want to see it too. What skill or attribute does JHS have that is the foundation for an NBA player?
Much better showing tonight. Looked like a completely different player playing with confidence. Love to see it!
