It would be different if he showed literally anything impressive in Summer League or Pre-Season. He was terrible then, and his first minutes in the regular essentially confirmed that he’s nowhere near ready for the NBA.
The question is, what will it take for him to be ready? That’s when you start examining the pieces and projecting. Some players are like, yeah I can see enough there to where if only he could make his jumper, he might be an NBA player. If only he had a tighter handle. If only he made better decisions, that talent is there.
I’m genuinely asking the question, because I want to see it too. What skill or attribute does JHS have that is the foundation for an NBA player?
I’m all for not writing off a 19 year old, but I’m just not seeing what NBA skill or potential JHS has to build off of that made him worthy of a first round pick. He has a LONG way to go.
I’m sure he must be disappointing so far to even the most optimistic and patient members of the Lakers FO.
When you count up every team’s whiffs throughout history you realize that none of this shit is a science.
The dilemma Warriors fans are facing is that when you try to attribute whiffing on Wiseman, Kuminga, and Moody as simply bad luck, you also have to start to admit that hitting on Steph, Klay, and Draymond was hugely a biproduct of good luck.
I legit don’t know if I’ve ever seen anything like this before lol
I know why they call him the Joker!
Last year Toronto wanted 3 first rounders for him. Some things just aren’t for sale.
This all makes perfect sense if you watch professional wrestling
Why are you preparing? You’re always preparing! Just go!
No one knows what’s going on and this sub is full of doomers
I think whatever Jokic is doing is working just fine
Any second not spent in the hyperbaric chamber is time wasted
Chicago trading for Harden only for Harden to continue to throw fits and refuse to play unless he’s traded again is remarkably on brand.
More 3’s = more points on less made baskets
If Wiggins is their second best player, then that literally proves Chuck’s point. It means that Dray and Klay fell off because they’re getting old.
Much better showing tonight. Looked like a completely different player playing with confidence. Love to see it!
