I think protecting the rookie qb with the choice to kick field goals rather than going for it in high stakes 4th downs will pay dividends in the future. That type of forethought is what makes a smart, successful head coach.

    I definitely am not against the kick. But with how good the team has been on 3rd and 4th and short since McDaniels got fired I would stay with the hot hand and go for it.

    The sweeps they have done with Carter and Turner must be in the defenses head on 4th and 1. Should make a traditional sneak easier to convert. And they don’t struggle with the tush push like some teams.
