…reminds me of all the tears and shredded garments several weeks ago about What Coulda Been because Will Levis had a good game that one time.

I’m for giving AOC more time, he’s a late-round rookie who came to a team that had just signed a quarterback and he’s using an offensive scheme that the Raiders have already basically admitted is a failure (by firing JMD mid-season). The only way I’d consider replacing him is if an absolute unicorn of a QB becomes available via FA or trade, otherwise there’s no reason to replace him with another experiment.

He’s proven he can make the throws, stand in the pocket, take NFL hits, etc. The thing to prove now is if he can adjust to the speed of the NFL game, and it’s unfair to expect that from him today. 2024 is the better gauge because he will have the first team reps in camp and face first stringers in preseason.

AP situation really depends on if the team can find a good offensive coordinator who is willing to work under him. Our new OC will need to completely reinstall the offense so we need someone who will hold down that spot for years and not just immediately go for a HC job elsewhere.
