It was not in town, because the news mentioned him returning to Cincinnati. Is there a particular hospital or person known for athletes’ hand/wrist repairs?

Most likely on the wrist. Anywhere else would be pretty irresponsible

Believe it was LA. Jonathan Taylor is getting his thumb done there and I believe another player just had surgery there in regards to a hand issue.

    Probably cleveland clinic.

This isn’t a sports joke. They have really good surgeons there

The lack of details surrounding his injury is really making me anxious. We don’t even know with confirmation which ligament he tore.

I’m legit worried this could be a career changing injury for him as hands/wrists are very complex and he obviously needs grip strength and range of motion as a QB. I also can’t find a single example of a QB having this injury in the past.

The statement the team released said he’s expected to make a complete recovery (they always say that) but it didn’t say he’d be back for the 2024 season. Leaving that out is a bit of a red flag.

I believe in the tenacity of Joe to do everything possible to get right, but I am concerned for him.

In the article written on the Bengals website for the same press release, the final line is “The Bengals expect Joe to be back for the 2024 season.” I feel ya on wanting more info on the exact injury / timeline, but I think he’ll be fine & and will be leading us to the promised land next fall
