I picked up Last Chance Rice as I’m thinking of benching Kupp. Should I do it?
Believe it was LA. Jonathan Taylor is getting his thumb done there and I believe another player just had surgery there in regards to a hand issue.
Knee jerk reaction: I’m ready for Lou to get poached by some other team.
This entire team is Burrow and Chase. The rest of the team is hot garbage. We have talent, but coaching and scheming is holding them back from being a juggernaut.
Fryermouth looks like a first ballot HOF against this defense.
Is going for the strip vs. the tackle a Lou thing or a league-wide thing?
I can’t be the only one that thinks Chris Boswell looks like complete white trash.
That’s your Angry Runs on GMFB for the week 🤦
Your guess is as good as ours. Browning is unknown and we have no idea if he’s going to lean more on the run game or start slinging it left and right. Smith is a safer choice, but Chase will give you much higher reward if he pops.
I was thinking of this, though. The defense isn’t really that good; Lou has been working with a tough group. But now that the offense is seemingly worse, all the pressure is on the defense to keep them in games. But relying on this defense to that? Eesh. My point is that Lou won’t look as good as he normally does and you compound that with the league wanting younger, offensive-minded guys, maybe he doesn’t get poached.
Great interview. It was interesting hearing about ‘halftime adjustments’. While it’s greatly exaggerated that it only happens at halftime vs. in-game, he admits he saves a few things for the second half so offenses can’t know everything right away.
Sometimes that’s the difference, though. You’re seeing how tight the AFC is this year so two-three easier games could be a huge difference.
