Me and a group of friends always have a yearly Minecraft stage but it always ends up with only a couple of us actually building and the others only join for the first day and then stop playing. When asked they always say that they just don’t know what or how to build so they just run around exploring and then come off.

If you enjoy building build a base that all of you can live in, I also am trash at building and my one friend is like the designated castle builder. When I have a cool base I want to play more.

Add mods to make it different. Sometimes Different is good

Come up with a group goal. Something everyone can build toward. Fighting the ender dragon, exploring the nether, finding and protecting a village.

That’s a thing. Some people, including myself can’t really build that well not like some of the Master Builders around. So they feel like they can’t contribute. I can never join a server because my buildings would suck compared to others. However you just have to come up with new projects and stuff to build or do. Talk with your friends about ways to get them more involved. Ask them what they want to do and come up with your own ideas of what you’d like to accomplish on the server.

Well typically (in my experience) if somebody tells you they don’t know what to do but don’t actually try to figure it out themselves, especially after many separate times, they aren’t really that interested in the game. Can’t force somebody to like what they don’t enjoy … Well I mean you can but that kind of gets into a morally messed up type of thing where your messing with their mind at that point lol.

It’s probably because they’re overwhelmed with the resource they had

Like what’s the point of grinding? wasn’t the point of grinding is to have the best gear to impress others?

least that’s how I pictured Minecraft before I got bored

In the end Minecraft is just a creative sandbox.

I’m already in the end game and I was working on my huge sorting system base. But I got bored now

But what you could actually do to stop your friends from getting bored is adding mods Like new enchantments and weapons. Since that gives a wide vast of gear ideas which makes it fun and unique.

We haven’t tried that because we play on mcpe. Not sure if there’s cool mods like that from mcpe. Since that’s mostly on java
