It’s gonna be a mess for a long time. We have a historically bad team that rivals the bobcats, with potential in a few years when our players mature. No one’s dragging us to the playoffs anymore. Yall getting heated over every loss & overreacting bc our rookies aren’t playing like prime Dame— are in for a very very very long season

no one is mad that the team sucks or that we’re losing games. that’s expected by everyone. tired of folks gaslighting others for pointing out very valid reasons for concern about our #3 overall draft pick in scoot henderson.

dude looks like trash in every single facet of the game right now. he’s got a long ways to go before he gets called a bust but still, he’s objectively underperforming right now.

I had a fucking blast watching Toumani, Jabari and Shae. We’ve got some gamers out there and it’s a delight even if only in spurts.

Good luck trying to get a fanbase on Reddit to “chill out” (never happening).

But the reality is that the team’s level of basketball doesn’t meet expectations. It’s outright bad. And even as fans who support the team, when it’s this “bad”, then fans have every reason to react in the ways that they do.

Like I totally get that the team’s gonna be bad, but even with all of this talent, there’s an expectation to not suck so hard. There are going to be handfuls of winnable games that will be lost to due any contributing factors, which sucks because there’s always the “grass is greener on the other side” approach, but the reality is the team’s dealt with the hand that they’ve been given from the FO.

A lot of this has to do with Chauncey as coaching for at least another year or two and that’s unfortunately one of the tough pills to swallow as the fanbase gets to watch from afar.
