Why are we forcing the ball to Odell??

Why is it not working?

Since the end of the Steelers game, it just concerns me. 4 targets today 0 catches. I should note yes he is drawing pass interferences at an alarming rate which I rock with.

But why the fades… he still looks fast and shifty. I think we should be running him on Cooper Kupp routes or Diggs type stuff. It looks to me like he’s getting Mike Evans or Davante Adams style targets.

Does that make sense? Like why are we tryna make him a contested catch guy? I don’t think that’s who he is and we’re forcing it. Just forcing him the ball in general which I don’t entirely mind he’s looking better and I want him peaking and sharp by end of season. But cmon not these routes right?

    He’s getting steps on guys, Lamar’s throwing it and he’s drawing PI’s because of it, for the limited role he has in your guys offense he’s making the most of it(well without getting catches)

    The guy is a penalty magnet and that’s worth something. I do sometimes feel like Jackson has decided he’s getting the ball before the snap sometimes.

    Yesterday was tough it did feel like we might have forced it some. But we missed some throws as well.

    Either way though OBJ might not have a ton of production so far but he does have like 300 yards in penalties so that’s something haha.
