Been a pretty fun start to the season. Lot of excitement coming into the year due to the new additions, the J’s getting more into their prime, and also with Coach Mazzulla finally getting the staff he wants along with a full year and camp as a head coach under his belt.
But what has shocked you the most so far?
For me it’s gotta be the 2 man game between JB and KP. 2 all stars working well together isn’t uncommon but I never expected this kind of chemistry and bond between these two to be so seamless so quickly. It’s awesome to watch out there.
The defense is what’s really makes him stands out, he’s a genuine 3 and D guy this year. He had great numbers last year but guys would always try to attack him thinking he was bad. He’s just straight but a great defender this year. He also improved the jumper release and shooting on the move. He’s really solidified himself as a real championship level rotation guy. It’s pretty wild considering he was on a 2-way contract 2 years ago.
