I thought Nurse liked to play long athletic guys but for whatever reason he’s giving a ton of respect to Marcus Morris who can’t do nothing but take open jumpers. I mean are we gonna have a repeat of Doc again where we play a shit veteran for half the season? I mean did one game where Morris hit a few open jumpers really offset the 5 putrid games he had in a row, and the game that served has irrefutable evidence that he couldn’t play center? Why do it again tonight and give yourself no chance at the game?
yea i don’t really care about morris one way or another getting minutes right now, or this game, really.
But backup centers on a Joel Embiid team matter alot. That teh head coach isn’t willing to give Mo Bamba significant minutes in this (by your point) meaningless November game, thats the part that worries me.
Without Embiid our only “big” is Paul Reed, and that’s not enough. That’s my point.
