Tonight’s win was great, and I was reminded of how fun the past few seasons were. Until tonight, it really felt like none of the guys were having fun and smiling during the games. I know it’s hard to do that when you’re losing, but at the end of the day basketball is a game, and this team has been 1st team all vibes for years now.

You know who brought a lot of that fun to our team? Ja did! In fact, I’d say he brought it to just about every game he played in, and he was bringing it back to the sport. At times, the NBA feels too much like a business, kind of like how the NFL does. Ja is one of those guys who brings that feeling of it being a game back.

This isn’t to excuse how stupid his decisions and behavior have been, but I’m absolutely looking forward to him being back, and I’m 100% going to relish in the “trade Ja” camp eating humble pie once he does come back.

Ja is a guy that makes a fan dream “Could we?” He’s a guy that sparks wonder and puts butts in seats. Hell, he could be the reason we host an All Star Weekend! I hope he really has learned, comes back at full force, and really brings us back to having fun watching the game and team we all love. Go Grizz.
