We’re all in agreement that the team is in an inflection point.
It seems that most of us are in the boat of rebuilding around Scottie, and it’s pretty obvious based off of the rotations that that’s what the FOs plan is too.
Many of us complain about the rotations so far this year. Especially, the Scottie and bench lineup that perpetually does poorly.
But the entire point of that lineup is to prepare Scottie for a post Siakam era where it truly is HIS team.
Another indicator of this is that the only other starter that sometimes joins Scottie is OG, who is a great fit next to Scottie and is the only other starter that is young enough to fit his timeline.
Furthermore, many complain about Siakam’s increased usage that is limiting Scottie’s usage, but we need to remember that our goal is to trade Siakam. So we can’t yank his trade value by prematurely implementing the Scottie centered offense.
So let’s just stay patient guys. IMO all indications is that we will get what we want. Siakam will be traded and we will try to resign OG.
Siakam needs to get 25 shots per game against Atalanta, Golden State, Sacramento, and Indiana.
