Thought this is very applicable to the giants right now with a lot of negativity in the fan base calling for jobs and fires sales, some of it is warranted but that has to be within reason and as long as we can say we are taking measurable steps to improve the team then we can take some success out of this season. For example after this year we will:

Have cleared the CAP nightmare that Dave Gettleman left us (huge win)

Retained Key Core players for the future (Thomas, Dex) at good prices

Allowed our young players on rookie contracts to develop over forcing short term success by using older vets (Thibs, McFadden, Banks to name a few)

built depth on the roster putting us in a better position to address area of need in the next off season as more cap/draft capital becomes available to us
We all love winning but not everyone can win every time, focus on things you can control and the results will come
