With all the injuries to OLine would you rather 5 5 starters who are rated 100/100 and their 5 back ups 50/100 or 10 linemen all rated 75/100

Good teams find a way to win games.

Our offense was atrocious yesterday, and the number of dumb penalties was outrageous. But we won. And 2 weeks from now, the big takeaway from the game was we won.

Trading for OLine and a WR 1B or 2 should be a priority.

Hope it happens today - if the front office’s relationship with Denver wasn’t poor, Sutton would be perfect.

    Need OLine depth bad.

So does anyone else just feel awful after yesterday’s win? It still feels like a loss to me even if the record shows differently.

The defense was lights out as every other game. You can’t knock them at all and I think Jermaine Johnson showed he’s an elite player. But it did highlight one key aspect of this team: if the defense doesn’t get turnovers, the offense’s struggles will be amplified. I’m sorry but Zach is literally holding this team back at this point. Was it raining? Yes. Did the WRs drop some balls? Yes. Has he still not learned about pressure and looks completely lost out there? 100%.

I am convinced we have seen his ceiling and it’s barely scratching NFL backup. Hackett should be praised for how he’s literally carrying him to look decent. Unless the defense is in a full prevent and not putting any pressure, Zach looks confused and will make terrible decisions. Taking a sack in the 2nd to last drive was almost as bad the the end of the 1st half in Denver. I know there are no other QBs out there and Rodgers is trying to make a comeback, but Douglas needs to own up to his bad draft pick and figure out a different option for Rodger’s predecessor.

At the end of the day both teams were awful but one was slightly less awful. We’ve been on the losing side of these battles of ineptitude so many times, I’m not going to be upset about finally winning one.

The NFL is weird. We beat PHI. Almost beat KC. Looked terrible against the Tommy DeVito Giants. Shrug. Plenty of good teams lose to bad teams. The AFC is still wide open. PIT and CLE lost yesterday. We are 4-3, in the hunt, with a back up QB.

    I’ll take it.
