Certainly a promising start for Will Levis. I’m not going to crown him yet. If he balls out against the Steelers on a short week, I will let myself start to believe we have something.

Will Levis changes the Titans’ playbook. Bootlegs and deep balls are back. Henry was more efficient. If Levis continues to ball out, that will only continue as teams have to respect a deep ball burning them on a stacked box. That being said, the method of 3 of Levis’ touchdowns is not sustainable. Steelers aren’t going to let DHop burn them deep like that and TJ Watt is a monster that single handedly wins games. While I’m happy to see the explosive plays again, Levis will more than likely need to win with a short to intermediate passing game on Thursday. It’ll be a big test for him and the Titans.

Defense took a step back. Expected when you trade a guy like Byard, but I’m still happy with the trade. Byard was never going to be a Titan after this season. Simmons had a game, though. Glad we have a GM that pays our young studs.

The fire sale is off after that game. Who knows how this season will play out. I’m still not expecting a playoff appearance, but I do think watching this team will be a lot more fun and interesting.
