Certainly a promising start for Will Levis. I’m not going to crown him yet. If he balls out against the Steelers on a short week, I will let myself start to believe we have something.

Will Levis changes the Titans’ playbook. Bootlegs and deep balls are back. Henry was more efficient. If Levis continues to ball out, that will only continue as teams have to respect a deep ball burning them on a stacked box. That being said, the method of 3 of Levis’ touchdowns is not sustainable. Steelers aren’t going to let DHop burn them deep like that and TJ Watt is a monster that single handedly wins games. While I’m happy to see the explosive plays again, Levis will more than likely need to win with a short to intermediate passing game on Thursday. It’ll be a big test for him and the Titans.

Defense took a step back. Expected when you trade a guy like Byard, but I’m still happy with the trade. Byard was never going to be a Titan after this season. Simmons had a game, though. Glad we have a GM that pays our young studs.

The fire sale is off after that game. Who knows how this season will play out. I’m still not expecting a playoff appearance, but I do think watching this team will be a lot more fun and interesting.

Levis looked like a vet out there. Checking at the line, moving the pocket, keeping his eyes down field and just trusting his arm and eyes. Every ball he threw was in an area where the receiver could make a play.

He is the perfect QB for what Kelly wants to do. You really got to see the playbook open up with a confident, on time, strong arm QB back there. If Levi’s can consistently hit the intermediate to deep balls, then defenses won’t be able to continually stack the box. Spears and Henry will be eating in December.

Defense was flying around and you didn’t hear much from Fulton which is a good thing for a DB. I feel we went soft on D too early in the 4th.

Prime time on the road in Pitt will be a true test.

I love tannehill, unironically one of my favorite Titans ever. I started watching football again after not watching since like 2012 the year he took over for Mariota, and I am forever grateful for what he’s done for the franchise. That being said ITS LEVIS TIME. Watching those deep balls in person was a wonderful experience and if he even has a decent game on a short week vs the Steelers I’m ready to crown him. Also sneaky good Fulton game for what it’s worth.

Anyone else surprised by how long the leash was for Levis? And by long I mean pretty much non existent. Felt like he basically had full domain over the offense and they designed plays that had him throwing 50+ yards in the air. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I feel like that speaks volumes considering how conservative Vrabel has been historically. Makes me think they had very little doubt about him going into the game.

It would be really nice if someone could explain to me why Levis took the same team Tannehill has been working with all season and… made them look so much better.

Out of all of the fantastic, feel good plays we had yesterday can we take a moment to appreciate little things.

One of my favorite things Billy Jeans did yesterday was under heavy pressure he just turned and threw the ball at Henry’s feet. It wasn’t hero ball. It was the right decision on a lost play to not negatively effect the offense and there’s not a doubt in my mind that Tanne and Wills both take a 7yd loss on that play.

It was so refreshing to see smart qb play like that just as much as seeing an explosive offense and us taking shots downfield

I hope to find a rebroadcast.

The 3 three games I was not able to watch this year, were all wins.

The bad snap wasn’t Malik’s fault, but it’s funny to think that if Levis was in on that snap, he woulda got it because he’s like 3 inches taller

Vrabel now 6-0 after the bye.

Aside from obvious change at QB, this win was all about the Dline/LB corps, Stonehouse, and Atlanta’s anemic passing game

oh, and the Oline decided to run block this week.

I loved seeing how hyped Levis was. I love Tannehill but the last couple years getting the shit beat out of him and losing all his targets definitely sucked some of that fire from him.

Levis needs to play well Thursday, short week, road game, prime game against a better D and aren’t the starting spot for good. I know everyone’s going to say he should already have the spot going forward and I agree but I don’t think that’s how the coaches are going to see it if he shits the bed Thursday our division is still winnable and they’ll put in who they think gives them the best chance.

The pass rush was better yesterday but still blows my mind that it disappears every second half. I’m sure the lack of long established drives hurt and had them tired but damn. Can we get some second half pressure.

The last thing, the deep shots were awesome yesterday but those won’t always be there not with shiny Dhop and a useless Burks, imagine if we had Aj for Levis, I’d like to see them try to put together some rhythmic, methodical, drives Thursday. Move the chains with Levis’s arm and see what that looks like.

As someone who was not a believer in Levis, wanted Malik to succeed, and has a lot of affinity for Tannehill . . . I remember thinking that when Dobbs and Malik were starting last year, my thought was always, “if Tannehill was starting, we’d have won that one.” But my thought after this game was that we wouldn’t have won that one without Levis. I think it’s a little early to say that we’re back or that he’s definitely the guy for the future, but I legit can’t remember the last time we outplayed a division leading team. His deep ball is amazing and is exactly what the offense needs to spread opposing defenses to open the box for Henry.

Chig prolly had his best game of the season yesterday but it’s overshadowed by the huge drop. Got to keep working him into the offense.

I really don’t even know what to say about Burks. I know he’s ben injured but he really has just shown nothing to this point.
