I think this is a big part of it. I feel like most people who are in the prime demographic for these cars (top 10% earners, homeowners, or those who can charge at work) may already own one if they wanted one. I’ve been saying this for a long time but if people want mass market sales, they need to stop pretending like these infrastructural issues will simply solve themselves as well as prices coming down.
