Lakers were clearly affected by fatigue after the first quarter. The combination of their age and their back to back was a factor.
-
Thunder weathered the early storm of points and showed poise hanging in there in the first quarter.
-
Thunder really swarmed on defense. Thunder fared pretty well in the first half on rebounding. Lakers fatigue was likely a factor there.
-
JDub had a very nice efficient first half. Good to see him getting into the flow of the game. He’s so fluid. Not as fluid as SGA but probably second on the team in that category.
-
Cason Wallace and Joe hitting some nice threes in the first half.
-
SGA was aggressive scorer but was a lot more efficient and under more control in the first half. Poured in the points again tonight.
-
Chet had some early struggles handling the ball but overall had a nice first half.
-
Wiggins also played well in his limited minutes and gave quality minutes in the first half. He’s a nice depth player who can score.
-
Giddey was his usual lackluster self. He can’t defend and he’s not worth much on offense either
-
Dort had a very quiet first half but had a very efficient second half. I’m glad to see Dort’s continuing solid play.
-
Kenrich is a good utility player but has limited upside as a scorer. Not a good game for him offensively.
-
Thunder bench vs Lakers bench was a mismatch. Thunder bench really had the advantage tonight.
