It’s one of the tools to create more debate and engagement and it would help the content creators a LOT since every other game showcase what they will be bringing to the next battlepass at least one week beforehand. OW sometimes does it less than 24h before only.

Why trying to hide it so much?

Bring ONE new piece of info for every day starting 15 days before; Like showcasing one skin or map pics or hero buff/nerf each day so there’s news every single day before the season start. They don’t have to show everything but the majority would be good.
