The r/NFL thread about this is cancer. It melts my brain how this continues to be an issue. No other team faces this much bullshit regarding their history.
Like, one thing that always gets under my skin is people using just blatantly flawed arguments, and ignoring the holes in them when you point it out. That’s all those comments are. I have read countless comments about this over the years and have not seen a single argument that makes sense.
My two biggest issues is this:

THEY HAVE A TEAM THEY CAN SUPPORT. The Texans are real and have been for over 20 years. All the Houston fans are like a dude crying over his ex on Facebook while she goes and marries another dude amd lives her life. Meanwhile, his new wife is wondering why he doesn’t just love her lol. It’s so fucking ridiculous.

If they cared that much, then why not just follow the team to Tennessee and become Titans fans? I mean, you love the franchise, right? That was your team, right? If the Titans suddenly became the Albuquerque Acme, you bet your ass I’d be a day 1 fan. If we got a new team as a replacement I’d probably follow both. If they were rivals I’d still follow both.
