When it comes to ex football players becoming pundits all I hear about carragher is that he was bad but to play for England at three major tournaments and 38 caps you’ve got to be somewhat good? What do you guys think.

He didn’t play much for England in a team with Terry, Ferdinand and Campbell. But he was in the group of players like Ledley King who would get games when the main CBs didn’t play. If he played today I would think between 2014-2023 he would have had more than 50 caps.
No shame in that!
