It’s clear he’s next in line for the throne of best SG in the league.

Dating back to the 90s Jordan had it first, then Iverson is arguable then Kob, then D Wade had an argument but I don’t think he was ever better than Bean. Then of course Harden ran with the title for years and now it’s Book’s time

He has to continue to ascend as an all around player and continue to win at a pace he has over the last few years but he playing with Book and Beal now will slightly hurt him when it comes to a head to head comparison to Iverson. Iverson had Melo in Denver but nothing like this when he was in Philly. At the same time, the efficiency argument will be used in Booker’s favor as will his improved defense.

He’s got a long way to go. Gotta keep doing what he’s doing.

He needs to have an iconic interview that is quoted constantly like the practice interview.

There are a lot of things he can do. Their career trajectories are not at all similar. If he has a long enough career (which is the hardest thing to predict), he can get there, but he’s severally lacking in career accolades imo. Not that he won’t get there, but here’s how it currently stands:

All NBA 1st team: AI 3, Booker 1
All NBA Totals: AI 7, Booker 1
    MVP’s: AI 1, Booker 0
All Star Selections: AI 11 (out of 14 seasons!), Booker 3

Booker is still young but he’s heading into his 9th season. In terms of overall and individual success, he’s pretty far behind imo.
