Both had breakout games yesterday, resulting in a big offensive day and a victory. Maybe neither is a superstar, especially Shaheed, but DA and PC seem hesitant to play the hot hand.

The team is barely above mediocre. Why not utilize what is working rather than a commitment to ideals?

Shaheed is already WR3, I don’t think he can become WR2 or 1 considering his route running isn’t as good as Olave or MT but he certainly should be the primary deep threat.

Only year 2 for shaheed and he could approach tyreek’s year 2 with slightly less rec yards and more return yards though

Being a wr 1/2 is still definitely possible for shaheed

I think you saw them utilise what is working for once and I hope they keep it going.

Shaheed is a really potent weapon in the 3 WR sets because Olave or MT usually draw the doubles. This means you have one of the fastest blokes in the NFL either in 1v1 and/or covered by a safety.

Taysom is our best football player and he has been very involved the last couple of weeks. The Taysom package works so long as the Oline gets a hold of their man. First few weeks of the season this was not happening.

Both are kind of situational players and probably won’t ever get to touch the ball quite as much as anyone would like, but that is kind of the nature of their roles. I am all for Taysom coming in in the Red Zone a lot to force teams to respect the run and just manning up on them and letting the Oline work.
