It’s always Philly, SF, or Dallas but Detroit is never mentioned.

Turn on the SF/Eagles game and you’ll kinda see why IMO. Anything can happen of course, in any one game, but just comparing them directly the Lions are not up there despite the same record.

We’d be the 1 seed right now if not for the Packers loss.

They’ve been in every Tom, Dick and Harry’s top 5 power rankings most of the year (or just outside it flip-flopping with Dallas) and have been mentioned in the same breath as the super bowl by multiple personalities numerous times so either the OP doesn’t watch TV or I watch way too much of it.

In any event, they’re another draft from being on the level of Philly, 'Frisco and even Dallas for that matter. So where last year was the transition from cellar dweller to the playoff hunt, and this year from playoff hunt to division winner, next year should see them as legit contenders for the conference.

Because we’d need help. You’ll need 14 wins at least to get it. Maybe even 15

We were in the conversation until the Packers game. Nantz mentioned it at the end of the Chargers game.

How can they be ? When they lose they lose horrifically. And win by the skin of their teeth.
